Spatial orientation disorder<\/strong> – lack of orientation to the right and left side of own body and to directions in space: left, right, higher, lower, forward, backward, above, below, etc. (required at age 6-7). The child is not able to correctly identify the right and left parts of his\/her own body (required at the age of 6-7), at the person opposite him\/her (at the age of 8), is not able to determine the position of three objects in relation to each other (age 10) using the names; right, left and in operating concepts expressing spatial relations.<\/p>\n

At a later age, has difficulties in understanding drawings, diagrams, spatial situations, locating elements in illustrations, determining their position relative to each other, orientation on a map. These children develop difficulties in drawing, reading and writing.<\/p>\n
