Visual exercises – the purpose of these exercises is to improve visual analysis and synthesis of non-letter material (e.g. jigsaw puzzles, mosaics, puzzles) and letter material (e.g. syllable and word puzzles). We usually combine these exercises with improving hand motor skills and hand-eye coordination, i.e. eye-hand coordination. These exercises are called graphomotor exercises because the manual improvement is aimed at raising the level of “calligraphy” – graphic drawing and writing.
