Reduced manual dexterity – is a delay or abnormal development of the motor skills of the hands, manifested by delayed development of praxis (mastery of human-specific movements), low motor skills in the form of low precision of small movements. In these cases, a characteristic feature is the late acquisition of self-care skills (dressing, buttoning, tying shoelaces) and everyday activities that are performed slowly and deftly. Low manual dexterity results in a poor level of graphic handwriting, slow writing speed, carelessness of notebook entries, incorrect grip of writing instruments.
