Abnormal phonological skills – i.e. handling phonological parts of speech such as syllables, sounds, logos. Characteristic errors include: rearranging and dropping letters, word endings, slow writing speed, increased errors in writing by ear. In reading, the disorder is accompanied by long-lasting voicing, slow pace, lack of fluency, reading errors (omission and substitution of letters), difficulties in integrating words into a sound whole, problems in reading unfamiliar words, inappropriate intonation, and therefore difficulties in understanding the content of the reading.
